Huntsman Firearms is an Authorised Australian agent for Surgeon Rifles. Surgeon Rifles have been a name synonomous with high-end precision bolt-action rifles, actions, and other accessories since its inception in 2004, manufacturing custom hunting and tactical rifles for competition shooters and long range enthusiasts, including law enforcement agencies and the US Military.
Surgeon Rifles have been the manufacturer of high-end precision bolt-action rifles, actions, and other accessories since 2004, when the company came to life at the hands of founder, Preston Pritchett. Preston Pritchett, a long time machinist and accuracy fanatic started out with the small machine shop Pritchett Machining, southwest of Prague, Oklahoma in January 2001 but through his own obssession with accuracy and the input of friends and fellow shooters Surgeon Rifles was born.
Surgeon Rifles Inc quickly grew into a large high-tech manufacturing facility, housing multiple CNC machining centers building a variety of rifles, actions, and other accessories for the custom hunting and tactical rifle enthusiasts including law enforcement agencies and the US Military.
In 2011, Strategic Armory Corps acquired Surgeon Rifles. The Phoenix based parent company also owns ArmaLite, AWC Suppressors, McMillan Firearms, and NEXUS Ammo. All of the manufacturing of Surgeon Rifles parts still takes place in Prague, OK, with many of the original employees and equipment.
