This Surgeon Rifles 591SA Repeater is a right hand, Remington 700 Short Action footprint action featuring an integral .25" recoil lug and 20MOA Picatinny rail. The action and bolt are machined to exceptionally close, reliable tolerances from single billets of hardened 4140 Chrome Moly steel. Full-length bolt locking lug race-ways and left race anti-bind rail are EDM wire-cut to eliminate machine-induced stresses in the receiver during manufacture.

The one-piece spiral fluted bolt has a .473" bolt face suitable for .308Win, .260rem, 6.5CM or similar, Mini-16 extractor, plunger ejector, recessed (Remington style) bolt nose and comes standard with a interchangable tactical bolt knob.
